The Third edition of the Outfield Sports 3 Counties Challenge will take place again this year from June to August in the sunny South East. This Series, organised by Carrick on Suir A.C. -Roadrunners, is fast becoming one of the most popular series in the South East, as can be seen by the continued growth in the number of participants. This years will see some small changes in the series, the key points are :-
* The Carraig Hotel Deadmans 5 Race will now take place on a new date, the 11th June, Starting in front of the Historic Butler Ormonde Castle and finishing behind the picturesque Town Park. This year the Race is being held in conjunction with the Clancy Music Festival, so expect Music and Craic on the Route! As with all the races, Start time is 7:30 p.m.
* Our normal opening Race, The Autopower Rathgormack 5, is now on Friday August 6th, under the Comeragh Mountains in Co. Waterford.
* The Champion Kiely Ballyneale 5 Km (July 2nd) and the Morris Oil Piltown 10 Km (16th July), take place at their normal times.
* This year ALL Races in the series will have Chip Timing.
* Save time on Race night by Pre-entering online at www.runireland.com. All you need on Race night is to pick up your Number at the Separate On line Desk . No Queuing!
* As with all races, safety is paramount so all Races in the Series are well stewarded, with Red Cross Ambulance in attendance. All races are AAI Permit Approved.
* Tea, biscuits and chat after all races !
* Run 3 out of the 4 Races and qualify for a Special Series Souvenir.
