Christmas Party Night

A very enjoyable night was had by all on Saturday last at our annual Christmas Party in the Strand Bar.With many having earlier run the half-marathon there was much talk of race tactics, split times and possible future marathons. Thanks to Alan and Susan for organising the evening. Daragh Byrne was named as this year's Club Person of the Year in recognition of his tremendous work on behalf of the club, particularly in establishing and updating our website. Daragh also found time to represent the club in many races and enjoyed a most successful cross-country season.Well done Daragh and keep up the good work!

Brian's All-Ireland Run

Brian Murphy produced another very impressive performance on Sunday week last when finishing 26th at the All-Ireland Novice Cross-Country Championships in Coleraine.Brian's run helped the Tipperary team to take a very solid fifth place in the inter-county team category.

Goal Mile

Don't forget  the annual Goal Mile from Ormonde Castle on Christmas morning at 11am. This year will see 82 such mile runs take place around the country in aid of this most deserving cause. We would also be very grateful for any help with collecting on Christmas Eve- just let any of the committee know if you are willing to lend a hand.

On behalf of the committee we'd like to wish all our members and supporters a very Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
