Four Silver Medals For Bernie

Our club was represented by Bernie O' Neill at the Munster Track and Field Championships in Castleisland last Sunday and it was a most successful day for our track and field specialist. Competing in the O/60 category, Bernie took in four events- the 100m, 200m , long jump and javelin - and secured the silver medal in all four disciplines against very strong competition. This was a great achievement and we wish Bernie all the best in the All-Ireland Championships in Tullamore in three weeks' time.
