   Ras na Rinne
 
The Ger Wyley Sports/Nike Summer Seies continued on Friday night last when 177 runners lined up for the annual Ras na Rinne over five miles. Raivis Zakis of West Waterford AC took the race in a time of 29:37, followed home by his clubmate, Sean Stilwell in 31:52. Third place went to Ferdia O hAodha from Ferrybank AC. Tommy Falconer was our first Carrick Roadrunner home, finishing 30th with a very good time of 35:56. Next home was Patrick Roche in 38:06 while our third finisher in the men's race was Mick O' Shea (46:48). Tara O' Donnell was our first lady finisher and will be well pleased with her time of 46:18. Ger Houlihan and Ann Cronin were both comfortably under the 50-minute barrier, finishing in times of 47:34 and 49:14 respectively.Well done to all six of our runners.

 
Champion Kiely 5km 
 
Ballyneale will be the venue for the second leg of this year's Outfield Sports/Asics Three Counties Summer Series, the 'Champion Kiely' 5km road race.Fast times are guaranteed over this flat, fast course and Cornelius MacFadden and his team have preparations well underway for what promises to be an exciting race on Friday 3rd July at 7:30pm.
