Munster Masters Cross-Country
Well done to Carrick AC's Patrick Roche who enjoyed another good run at the Munster Masters Cross-Country Championships in Beaufort, Co. Kerry on Sunday, December 1st. Patrick finished in sixteenth place overall and eleventh in the O/35 category in this 7km race. He was Tipperary's second finisher and helped secure the team bronze medals for the county.
Goal Mile on Christmas Day
The annual Goal Mile has become a well-established part of the Christmas festivities and this year's renewal will start as usual from Ormonde Castle, Carrick-on-Suir at 11am on Christmas morning. What better way to work up an appetite for Christmas dinner than to run, jog or walk the one-mile course around the town in aid of such a worthy cause? Santa Claus will be in attendance before he returns to the North Pole and there will be mulled wine and chocolates at the finish line for all.
