 Supervalu  Winter League

The SuperValu Winter League is now back in full swing following the Christmas break. You can still join the league on any Tuesday evening at Kildalton College, Piltown. Don't forget that our Fit-for-Life programme, incorporating weekly group training sessions, will follow on directly from the Winter League. This means that you can meet and train in Kildalton right up to the start of the Outfield Sports Summer Sreies of four road races commencing in June.  Runners are reminded that in the interest of safety a high-viz vest must be worn at all times while running at Kildalton College.

Munster Senior and Masters Indoors

The club had three representatives at last Sunday's Munster Senior and Masters Indoor Championships.Patrick Roche and Tommy Falconer both ran excellent races in the 3,000 metres for Senior Men.Patrick clocked an impressive 9:53 while Tommy also dipped under the magical 10-minute barrier with a time of 9:59. In the over-35 3,000 metres for ladies, Martina O' Dwyer claimed the gold medal with a superb run. In the process, she also smashed her own previous Irish record (10:34) with a fantastic time of 10:30. Well done to all three of our runners.
