SuperValu Winter League

 
The SuperValu Winter League has four more weeks to run before our 2012 winner is known and the league table is really taking shape now. The rate of improvement shown by many of our runners has been very impressive and no doubt there will be precious seconds knocked off best times over the next few weeks. The League continues every Tuesday evening at Kildalton College, Piltown.The first group of runners start at 7pm sharp.

 
Club Membership
 
Carrick AC club membership fee is now due for the current year and the fee remains at a very reasonable €30. It is important to note that membership (which includes AAI registration) is based on the calendar year, irrespective of when last year's membership was paid. Fees can be paid to Susan, Catherine, James or Mark before the end of January.

County Novice Road Championships

The Tipperary County Novice Road Races for men and ladies will take place in Clonmel on Sunday,Februay 26th. These races are open to all runners who have not won this championship or placed in the first three at County Senior level in the past. The men's race is over 6k and the ladies' event is over 3k so these races afford a wonderful opportunity for our Winter League runners to represent Carrick AC at a championship event.Further information can be had from any of the committee members.
