Brian Murphy Wins Again in Clashmore     
 
Carrick AC's Brian Murphy is in tremendous form at present and followed up last week's victory in the 'Deadman's 5' with another winning performance in the Old Still Bar 5-mile race on Friday evening.Brian clocked a time of 26:21 and had 25 seconds to spare over Raivis Zakis (West Waterford). Third place went to Dzintars Klava (West Waterford) while the ladies' race was won by Corinna Walsh (West Waterford).Six other Carrick AC runners lined up and were rewarded with very good performances- 6th Michael Murphy (28:19), 8th David Waters (28:41), 10th Patrick Roche (29:00), 14th Tommy Falconer (29:55), David Foley (32:26), Paul O' Donnell (45:05).Well done to all our runners.
 
AAI National League      
 
Martina O' Dwyer travelled to Castleisland on Sunday week last as a member of the Tipperary County team for the first round of the AAI National Leagues.Martina won the 1500m in her division with a time of 4:59 and followed up with a third place finish in the 800m (2:33).The team are currently in second place, just one point behind Wexford.The second round will take place on July 17th.
