Kilsheelan 10k Road Race 26th September 2010
On Sunday last Kilsheelan hosted their first 10k road race in perfect weather conditions ,it was a fast course with a few up and downs to content with through out the race.There were a good turn out of runners from Carrick AC and Clonmel AC and from other clubs such as Thurles Crokes and Waterford AC.The winner was Paul Deegan (Gowran AC) in 33mins 28sec, second was Danny Smith (Ballyonty AC) in 35mins 08sec and third place went to Tommy Falconer (Carrick AC)37min 56sec.First in the ladies was Angela McAann (Clonmel AC) in 38min01 followed by Martina O' Dwyer (Carrick AC) 38min 53sec, third place went to Elaine O' Brien (Clonmel AC) 43mins 52sec.

Well done to Tommy Falconer who finished 3rd in the Carrick Duathlon on Saturday 25th September.
ONE MILE CHALLENGE
Tuesday 21st of September was the second week of the One Mile Challenge which takes place in the Sean Kelly sports track.Fourteen runners took part with more beginners taking part on the night, the race was on in the men's with Richard Carroll being kocked off top position by Parrick Roche. In the ladies Martina O' Dwyer claims poll position for the second week running.
