Carrick-on-Suir GOAL MILE Leads the way once more raising a grand total of €4,102.10.
Carrick Road Runners 11th annual GOAL MILE took place on what was a very wet Christmas morning.
Huge thanks to everybody that participated. It's not easy to turn out in such miserable conditions. Having said that there was a great atmosphere on the day and everybody enjoyed their well earned cup of tea or glass of mulled wine afterwards.
Thank you also to the numerous people who help make Carrick Road Runners GOAL MILE so successful each year, you all know who you are, and to all who donated whether to our Street Collection or Christmas Day, without you we wouldn't be one of the top GOAL MILES in the country.

SuperValu Spring League Week3 4K (Tuesday23rdJanuary 2018)
Week 3 of the SuperValu Spring League Took place at Lower Ballylynch last Tuesday night 23rd January.
Weather condition dry and reasonably clam, a total 35 runners ran in this event.
This was the first week of 4K Distances, remaining 5 weeks of the 8 weeks will be 4K distance.
The top 3 results in our predicated times were

2nd 0:00:02 Joe Gough
3rd 0:00:06 Michael Freaney
For week 4, teams made up of 3 runners will have been form, from week 3, this will be a competition of teams and Individual starting from last week which is week 3. For the remaining five weeks, any new runners that turn up to take part, for any number of the remaining five weeks, that is not on a team will be welcome to take part in the competition as an Individual. Week 4 is next Tuesday 30th January, Registration is from 6.30 O Clock at James Sullivan Physical Therapist, 4K Run starts at 7 O Clock.
