ALAN EVERETT 5 MILE ROAD RACE

In glorious sunshine on Sunday last five Carrick AC runners took part in the 5 mile road race in Woodstown Co.Waterford, with Patrick Roche first home in 8th place (30.20), followed by John Nolan 11th place (30.42), 14th James Fox (31.18), 57th Jason Ryan (38.11).The only lady runner was Ger Houlihan 92nd (42.12).
Congratulations to Michael O' Loughlin who competed in the 50k marathon in Galway last Sunday in 3hrs 49 mins.
Future Fixtures
The One Mile Challenge will take place from 14th September over four weeks on Tuesday nights,it is a great way to get started if you are thinking of taking up running or just want to keep fit . Keep an eye out for more details.
