Brian is County Champion !
Well done to Brian Murphy who is county champion after a another great performance ,he was well clear of the field which included Shane Mullaney (Thurles Crookes).In the team event( Dundrum 1st-26pts,Clonmel 2nd-44pts), Carrick AC men's team took the bronze medal with 49pts - 1st Brian Murphy,7th Tommy Falconer, 20th Patrick Roche, 21st Brendan Cronin, Anthony Grace and Mick O' Shea . Martina O' Dwyer was also on top form taking silver in the ladies finishing second to Angela McCann(Clonmel AC).Tara O' Donnell took silver in the O/40 category.

BOSTON SCIENTIFIC HALF MARATHON Sunday 15th August 2010
The summer sun was out in Clonmel for the first half marathon to be held in the town.Five men and one lady runner from Carrick AC took part . 43rd Michael O' Loughlin (1.40.33), 56th Mick 0' Dwyer (1.43.42), 84th Michael O' Connell (1.49.34), 88th Sean Owens (1.58.19), 146th James Walsh (1.59.20), 212th Tara O' Donnell (2.11.11).
Good luck to Michael O' Loughlin who will be running in the National 50K Championship in Galway on Sunday 28th August.
