Carraig Hotel Deadman's 5 to kick off Summer Series for 2010
Online entry for the Carraig Hotel Deadmans 5 is now open – click on www.runireland.ie, this event is being run on Friday 11th June at 7.30pm in association with the Clancy festival. Registration on the night is in the Swan club hall from 6pm. It is the first in a series of four races, technical running t-shirts will be awarded to anyone who runs in any three of the races. All club members are encouraged to participate, anyone who is unavailable to run but would like to help for any of the events please contact any committee member.

Poulmucka 8K Road Race
The Poulmucka 8K road race, one of the four Tipperary Challenge races was held on Friday 21st May. Sergie Ciobanu of Clonliffe Harriers was the race winner in 24:53 while Siobhan O'Doherty of Borriskane was the winner of the ladies race in 28:28.
Ten Carrick runners made the trip to Poulmucka, Brendan Cronin was first home among them. James Fox, Tara O'Donnell, Anne Cronin and Susan Collins all ran well to take prizes in their categories.By all accounts no one went back to Carrick with an empty stomach, thanks to all in Poulmucka for their hospitality.

Fethard 6K
The final race in the Tipperary Challenge was the Fethard 6K. Four runners represented Carrick on the night, James Fox was first home for Carrick and Anne Cronin took fourth prize in her category. Anne, James and Mick were awarded for competing in all four races in the Tipperary Challenge - congratulations to our three dedicated race goers!!!

Summer training runs will commence Tuesday 8th June at 7pm from the Sean Kelly Sports Centre.
