Butlerstown 10K
The second race in the Ger Wyley series – the Hennessey Garage Butlerstown 10K was held on Friday night last, a bright sunny evening for this 3 loop 10K. A good night for the club with Carrick on Suir runners featuring strongly on the night, 20 club members competing and scooping prizes in both the mens and ladies categories. Brian Murphy finished second in 32:49. Martina O'Dwyer, on the back of her recent victories in the county road races took third prize in the ladies event – a super result for Martina! Bernie Sexton's good year is continuing, finishing in 50:28, the sub 50 definitely there for the taking in 2010. Congratulations also to Gordon Collins on his race debut and a fantastic time.
