Three of our runners took part in the recent Kilkenny half-marathon which attracted a field of 195 to the Marble City. The race was won by Tony Fogarty (Thurles Crokes) just ahead of Carrick Roadrunners' Brian Murphy with Danny Smith (Ballynonty) in third place.Brian has been in fantastic form in his first year with the club and clocked a superb time of 1hr 14m 13 sec, just four seconds behind the race winner. We also had very good performances from Jacqui and Ann Power, who finished in 1:41:30 and 1:53:57 respectively - well done!
