Morris Oil Piltown 10k 
All roads lead to Piltown this Friday, July 17th, for the third race in this year's Outfield Sports/Asics Three Counties Challenge- the Morris Oil 10km race. Prizes will be on offer for all the usual categories and, with a large field expected, competition should be intense. Registration will be from 6:00pm in the GAA Complex across the road from Kildalton College and the race will start inside the gates of the college at 7:30pm. The race will follow the same scenic route as last year with the finish on the college grounds.
 
Coillte Dundrum 10k
Two club members, James Fox and Ann Cronin, made the journey to Dundrum on Wednesday last for the very popular Coillte 10k race.Both were rewarded with fast times. James clocked a speedy 38:50 while Ann recorded a season's best run of 49:50,proving that she is right. back to her best in time for the up-coming county Masters and 10-miles.
 
GlaxoSmithkline '5'
Over 300 athletes gathered in Dungarvan on Friday last for the GlaxoSmithkline 5-mile race.The race was won by Sandis Bralitis of West Waterford AC in a time of 24:59. Our first club person to finish was Tommy Falconer,40th in 30:05.Next home was Anthony Grace (30:32). Brendan Cronin(32:09) and Seamus Ward(32:18) also had excellent runs, while Mick O' Shea (38:25) and Jimmy Power (39:14) both comfortably broke the 40-minute barrier.Our two ladies ,Ger Houlihan (39:04) and Ann Cronin (40:28) put in very good performances. Well done to all our runners.
