County Silver for Aaron O' Donnell

The County Tipperary Novice Road Championships were held in Moyne on Sunday and Carrick AC fielded a team of four athletes in the men's event.  Aaron O'Donnell had a fantastic run to take the silver medal in a time of 20:25 just behind the winner, Willie O'Dwyer (Dundrum AC).  Liam Shanahan from Thurles Crokes completed the medal placings.  This was Aarons first ever appearance in a County Championship Road Race and there is little doubt that he will go on to further success.  The men's team finished in seventh place overall with Michael O'Sullivan (22:42), Brendan Cronin (23:02) and Geoffrey Brophy (25:13) all putting in very good performances. Well done to all four of our runners.
