Running Clinic With David Gillick

Members of Carrick AC and Clonmel AC enjoyed a runners' clinic with two-time European 400m Indoor Champion and Celebrity Masterchef winner, David Gillick, at the Clonmel Park Hotel recently. This evening was organised by Alan Treacy of Outfield Sports, Carrick-on-Suir, and proved to be of great interest to all who attended. David began by taking the runners for a 5k run and then shared some of his culinary skills and knowledge of running nutrition. He also gave a very enlightening insight into the level of training and preparation required to compete at the very highest level.
