 SuperValu Winter League
 
Registration for this year's SuperValu Winter League can still be completed on this Tuesday evening,October 25th, in Kildalton College, Piltown from 6:30pm.So if you missed last week's registration night, don't worry! Registration costs €5 and the entry for each week is then €3.Runners are required to wear their number on the front of their running singlet/shirt every week so that results can be updated accurately. This Tuesday's first run will start at 7pm sharp and will be from a 'mass start' - that is, all runners will begin the 5km course together.From next week onwards there will be a handicap system in operation with runners starting at two-minute intervals.Please note that reflective bibs must be worn by all runners every week.As usual we are asking all runners to volunteer for stewarding/marshalling on one evening over the course of the league as this allows everybody to complete the minimum number of runs required for scoring.
 
Dublin City Marathon    
 
The club will have several representatives in next Monday's Dublin City Marathon which also doubles as the National Marathon Championships. The hard training has now all been done so this will be an enjoyable week of shorter and easier runs.Best of luck to all our marathoners from all in the club.
