One mile challenge
Thankfully the weather conditions are holding up each week for our mile challenge, not much has changed on the leader board since last week as Patrick Roche is in poll position and getting stronger each week. Tommy Falconer is not far behind followed by Martina O'Dwyer in third. We have decided to run the mile challenge for one more week so overall results will be available next week.

West Waterford AC open cross country Dungarvan October 10th 2010
Three of our club runners ran in the Friary college cross country in Dungarvan on Sunday last. The course was 8k for men and 4k for women, the winner was Mark Hanrahan (Leevale) 23.41. First home for Carrick AC was Patrick Roche in 28.15, followed by Tommy Falconer in 29.18. In the women's Pauline Lambe of (Waterford AC) took first place in 13.54 and Martina O'Dwyer (Carrick AC) was second in 14.06.Well done to all three athletes.

With the cross country season well under way Fethard AC are hosting cross country promotion under lights Starting Monday October 11th, 18th, 25th at 7.30pm.
Super-Valu winter league commences Tuesday November 2nd at Kildalton College Piltown Co. Kilkenny.Registration will be at 6.30pm and will start at 7pm, it is a 5k course and all levels of runner's are welcome.A reflective bib is essential for every runner who wishes to run.
