AUTOPOWER RATHGORMACK 5 MILE

"FINAL RACE IN THREE COUNTIES CHALLENGE"

Friday 6th August will see the fourth and final race in the Outfield Sports/Asics Three Counties Challenge take place. The race which is being sponsored by AUTO POWER of Carrick-on-Suir, will be held in the scenic village of Rathgormack Co.Waterford under the the foot hills of the Comeragh mountains.Rathgormack is six miles from Carrick-on-Suir on the Dungarvan road.The race will start at 7.30pm from just outside the Rathgormack Hiking Centre from there will it will make it's way with a one mile loop around the village ,before heading out around the country roads where there are a few hill's to be negotiated.Walkers will be starting at 7pm and will finish outside the Rathgormack Hiking Center where there will be showering and toilet facilities ,post race refreshments and prize giving will be here also.There will be prizes in all the categories as well as spot prizes. This years series souvenir is a technical running top which is given to any runner who completes 3 out of 4 races. Chip timing will be used and entry fee is €10.
