Dublin City Marathon

Well done to all who completed the 2015 Dublin City Marathon on Bank Holiday Monday. Carrick AC were represented by three members who all ran very well. Our first finisher in a super time of 2:50 was Brian Murphy who has run several times in this event, never failing to break the 3-hour barrier. Our next finisher was Johnny Brunnock who clocked a time of 3:18 despite suffering a foot injury with 10k to go. Seamus Ward ran the race as a member of the 'Car For Cillian' team, and finished in a time of 3:46. Well done also to the other members of this team -Michelle Russell, Michelle Foley, Emer O' Brien and Melanie Ward - on a great fundraising effort and superb performances on the day.
