The third race in this year's OutfieldSports.ie 3-Counties Challenge will be the popular Deadman's 5-mile road race in Carrick-on-Suir on Friday, 5th June. Entry for the race is €10 and race registration will be at the Swan GAA  Hall, Parkside, next to the library. Changing facilities will be available. Intending entrants should note that race registration must close at 7:10pm as the race start will be at 7:30pm sharp - this is due to the race route passing over the railway crossing on Cregg Road. The race start will not be delayed to accommodate late entrants so please make sure you get to the Swan Hall in good time for registration.

There will be prizes in all of the usual categories as well as a draw for two pairs of New Balance runners - this draw will be from all race entrants who have not won a category or overall race prize. Presentation of prizes and post-race refreshments will be held at the Swan Hall. As the race route takes in a lot junctions through the town, we would be very grateful for any assistance with stewarding. Any club members who will be available to steward on the night should contact Barry on 087-6243637.
