SuperValu Winter League
The 2014 SuperValu Winter League is past the half-way point now and the seventh 5k run of the series will commence at Kildalton College, Piltown on this Tuesday, 11th November from 7pm. Last week saw Michael O' Connell cross the line first, clocking a very good time of 17:35. Jason O' Brien was the second finisher closely followed by Amy Harris and Anne Phelan.
Club Flag Day
The club's annual Flag Day will take place in Carrick-on-Suir on Saturday, 22nd November. Any club members who are available to help out at the various collection points should contact Catherine (086-8774531) or Susan (087-2931430). This is the club's main fundraising event for the year and the support of all members would be greatly appreciated.
Munster Novice Cross-Country
Well done to club member, Patrick Roche, who represented Tipperary at the recent Munster Novice Cross-Country Championships in Two-Mile-Borris. Patrick finished in 50th position in a very large field and the Tipperary team were bronze medal winners.
5k Run in Callan
A 5km fun run and walk will be held in Callan, Co. Kilkenny on Sunday, 23rd November starting at 12:30pm. Entry for adults is €10 and for children under-12 is €5. Proceeds in aid of St. Brigid's College, Callan. A poster of this event can be seen by clicking here.
