Goal Mile on Christmas Day

The annual Goal Mile has become a well-established part of the Christmas festivities and this year's renewal will start as usual from Ormonde Castle, Carrick-on-Suir at 11am on Christmas morning. What better way to work up an appetite for Christmas dinner than to run, jog or walk the one-mile course around the town in aid of such a worthy cause? Santa Claus will be in attendance before he returns to the North Pole and there will be mulled wine and chocolates at the finish line for all.
