British Masters Indoors Championships
Two Carrick AC runners, Martina O' Dwyer and Patrick Roche, made the journey to the Lee Valley Stadium in London for the British Masters Indoor Championships recently and performed with great distinction in their respective events. Patrick finished in an excellent fourth place in the 3,000 metres with a time of 9:46, while Martina won the ladies' 3,000 metres in a new Irish record time of 10:20. Well done and congratulations to both from all in the club.
Fit-4-Life
The club's Fit-4-Life programme continues every Tuesday evening at Kildalton College, Piltown with a 7pm start.This programme is ideally suited to anyone who intends participating in the Outfield Sports.ie summer series with five races from 5k up to 10k over the summer months. The dates for these races are:
