Waterford Half-Marathon
The Waterford Half-Marathon on Saturday last attracted a huge entry of over 1200 runners. The men's race was won by the in-form Philip Harty while Angela McCann ( Clonmel AC) took the ladies' race. Carrick AC athletes enjoyed some very good runs also. Tommy Falconer was 21st overall in a time of 1:20:16. Next Carrick AC finisher was Martina O' Dwyer in 1:23:40 which gave her fourth prize in the ladies' race. Michael O' Connell (1:26:36), Paddy Kerwick (1:30:22), Seamus Ward (1:30:47), Emer O' Brien (1:46:00) and Sean O' Donovan (1:50:57) all ran very good times. Well done to all.
All-Ireland Cross-Country
Two Carrick AC runners represented Tipperary in the ladies' race at the All-Ireland Inter-County Cross Country Championships held in Ratoath, Co. Meath. Both Martina O' Dwyer and Claire Annan ran very strong races to help Tipperary to third place in the team event, finishing fourth and fifth of the Tipperary runners respectively.
SuperValu Winter League
This Tuesday evening (Dec. 4th) sees the penultimate run in this year's SuperValu Winter League. The scramble for points and the mass-start should make this a very exciting 5k dash. All proceeds from league entries this week will be added to the funds already raised by the students and staff of Kildalton College in aid of The Conor O' Sullivan Appeal and St. Vincent de Paul. Any voluntary contributions would also be greatly appreciated.

Club AGM
The Annual General Meeting of Carrick AC Roadrunners will take place this Monday, December 3rd, in the Carraig Hotel at 8 pm. All club members are invited to attend.
