Flag Day
The club's annual flag day takes place this Saturday, November 24th in Carrick-on-Suir. We would be very grateful for the assistance of club members at any of the collection points. Please contact Catherine O' Donovan or any of the committee members if you are available to help.
SuperValu Winter League
The 2012 SuperValu Winter League is proving to be the most successful yet with large numbers of athletes running consistently well over the six weeks to date. The fastest time clocked on Tuesday last was Michael O' Connell's 17:27, showing that Michael has recovered quickly from his recent fine run in the Dublin City Marathon. Martina O' Dwyer was once again fastest among the ladies with a time of 18:07. Mary Molloy and Tara O' Donnell were the next two ladies with times of 20:44 and 20:49 respectively.

The clock will start at 7 pm sharp for the next run on this Tuesday, November 20th. Please wear a hi-viz bib/vest and run on the right-hand side of the college avenue at all times. It is also very important that all runners pass through the tunnel at the finish line with their number clearly visible on the front of their bib.
This year's League will conclude on Tuesday, December 11th and prizes will be presented at the club's Christmas night out on Saturday, December 15th in the Carraig Hotel.
Goal Mile
The annual one-mile run/walk through the town on Christmas morning in aid of the third-world charity 'Goal' has become a feature of Christmas in Carrick. This year's run will start at Ormonde Castle, Carrick as usual and there will be a collection in the town on Saturday, 22nd December.
