MorrisOil.ie Piltown 10k next Friday
 
The fourth and final race in this year's Outfield Sports Three-Counties Challenge, organised by Carrick-on-Suir Athletics Club, will be the annual MorrisOil.ie Piltown 10k on this Friday, August 3rd. This race is run over a fast course which has proved very popular with all runners.The first mile and a half take in the scenic grounds of Kildalton Horticultural College. Runners then exit the college grounds at the top of the village of Piltown and  cover some quiet country roads before finishing for the first time on the Piltown GAA club grounds.If you are looking for a personal best time over the 10k distance, then this race provides an ideal opportunity. Parking and registration (race entry is €10) will be at Piltown GAA Club from 6pm where there will also be shower facilities and of course the post-race refreshments and prize-giving.Online registration is also available on http://www.runireland.com/. The popular Fit-4-Life meet 'n train evenings continue this Tuesday, July 31st with runners meeting at the Sean Kelly Sports Centre in Carrick-on-Suir at 7pm for a run around the Kilonerry circuit. All are welcome .
