Successful Flag Day
A very big thank-you to all who helped in making our annual Flag Day such a success on Saturday last. All our usual collection points were manned despite the very inclement weather, thanks to the dedication of our members.A special word of thanks to Shirley O' Shea for once again organising the event and to Susan Collins for looking after the rota of collectors. Over 1,200 was raised which will help ensure the club continues to go from strength to strength.
Supervalu Winter League
With everyone now settled into their running, our Winter League is starting to take shape and next Tuesday, December 1st, we will see the first league table of the series.Who will be the early pace-setters?Who are the big improvers?Who will lead the league over the Christmas break? As the table is updated each week, these questions will be answered and the battle for the top positions will intensify.Remember, there are only two more runs where league points are available before we take a break for Christmas!
