Streets of Portlaoise 5K Portlaoise AC (1100hrs Sunday 17March 2019)
John Carroll travelled to Portlaoise, Co.Laois last Sunday 17thMarch on Saint Patrick’s Day to compete in the ‘Street of Portlaoise 5k’, With over 900 hundred runners taking part in this famous event John performed very well to finished in 91st place and 5th out of 26 in his age category.
Noah’s Wish to Walk 8K/4k (1100hrs Sunday 24March 2019)
The ‘Walk for Noah’ 4k and 8k, took place at Carrick on Suir on Sunday today 24th March, with spot prizes, the main venue was at Carrick Swans Hall, this event was well supported by Carrick on Suir AC Road Runners, the People of Carrick on Suir and surrounds, Well done to everyone.

Tipperary County Senior Road Championships 5K/10K (1200hrs Sunday 24March 2019)
The Tipperary County Senior Road Championships 2019 got under last Sunday24thMarchat Templemore, the event was hosted by Templemore Athletic Club.
Both the Women’s 5K and Men’s10K started simultaneously Women’s 5K was won by Dymphna Ryan, Dundrum AC in 18.28 and winning team was Clonmel AC, winning team membersAngela McCann, Kealey Tideswell and Aine Roche. Men’s 10K was won by Kevin Moore Dundrum AC in32.46 and winning team was Thurles Crokes AC, winning team members Kevin Coleman, John Fitzgibbon, William Hughes and John Treacy. Carrick on Suir Athletic Club had two members take part withgood performances by Michael O’Sullivan in22nd place time 37.47 followed by Patrick Roche in37thPlace, time 40.54 Well done to both athletes
