Great Pink Run Kilkenny 5/10K (1100hrs Sunday 14 October 2018)
The Great Pink Run 2018 took at Kilkenny Castle Last Sunday 14th October, this is a great event with a 10k Challenge as well as a 5k Fun Run. Starting on and taking in Kilkenny Castle Grounds before traveling out the road by the river Nore, returning and finishing at the Castle. Monies raised go directly toward Breast Cancer Ireland for research and awareness. Well done to our club members Jimmy Power and John Carroll who both completed the 10K run and for supporting this event
Solas Run & Walk for Life 2018 (1230hrs Sunday 14October 2018
The Solas 10k run and walk 2018got under way at Waterford on Sunday 14th October the, race stared near the city centre, went out the tramore road and finished at the people’spark, with the monies raised going to the Solas Cancer Support Centre, this event was the 10 year anniversary race with well over 800 runners and walkers, Well done to club member Margaret Power who supported this race and finished in 51.40.
