Clonmel AC 6k road series 2018 Night 4 (Wednesday 11 April 2018)
James Sullivan Wins night four 6K road race and Team James Sullivan Running Coach Wins Division Four, overall on the final night of the ‘predict your time’ section of the competition.
Club Member James Sullivan (Team James Sullivan Running Programmes) win race on night four of the Morrison BMW 6K series his time 21.55, followed by Michael O’Sullivan (Team Mac Attack) in 3rd place his time 22.17. Our 1st women and club member over the line was Mary Molloy, (James Sullivan Running Coach Team) her in 27.36.
A Big Thank to James Sullivan who also sponsored our 4 teams, are as follows James Sullivan Running Programmes Team, James Sullivan Running Technique Team, James Sullivan Running Coach Team, and James Sullivan Physio Team. This event turned out to be very successful for our club.
Well done to James Sullivan Running Coach Team, who won Division Four. Members are Tom Egan(captain), Tommy Falconer, Mary Molloy, Eoghan Coughlan & Darren O'Loughlin). In Division Three, James Sullivan Running Technique Team battled hard and finished in 3rd place - well done to the following team members James Fox (captain), Maura O'Neill, Michael Freaney, John Carroll & Jimmy Power. In Division Five, James Sullivan Physio Team Finished in 3rd place, well done to members Deirdre Power(captain), Mags Power, Ber Glascott, Jackie Dunne & Sinead Dunne. In Division Two, James Sullivan Running Programmes Team finished in 6th place, well done to members Ann Cronin(captain), James Sullivan, Jeff Brophy, Derek O'Dwyer & Sean Dunne. In Division One, well done to the Mac Attack Team, Who Finished in 6th place, with our 2 club members Michael O’Sullivan and Andrew Downey who formed a team with Cornelius Mc Fadden, Tom Bourke and David Kenneally. This concludes the ‘Predicate your Time’ section of the competition as the fifth and final night of the event, is a race with Lucky Dip Format and prize giving for the overall event afterwards.
SE2 Butlerstown 4 Mile Road Race (Friday13 April 2018)
Seamus Ward Lead the way for Carrick on Suir AC at Butlerstown. The Butlerstown 4 Mile Road Race took place last Friday the 13thApril. our club had 5 representatives putting in fine runs in this event, first over the line was Seamus Ward in 62ndplace, time 27.08. next was Mary Molloy in 97th time 28.44, Derek O’Dwyer in (pos 145) time 31.04, Deirdre Power in (pos 146) time 31.05 and Ger Houlihan (pos 199) time 35.31 Well done to everyone.
Harrow Parkrun 5k (London) (Saturday14 April 2018)
Miguel Ponce De Leon representing our club took part in Harrow Park Run at London last Saturday 14 April. He put fine run to finish 6th overall, his time 20.41. Miguel travelled with his Dad, Ralph who assisted him, in his preparation for event. Great team work, well done both.
Cork BHAA Gas Networks Ireland 5 Mile (Saturday 14 April 2018)
Patrick Roche Travelled to Cork to run in the Cork BHAA Gas Networks Ireland 5-mile Road Race. Last Saturday 14 April 2018. The event Located at the Marina, Cork City, this was a flat course, Patrick ran well to finished in 17th place, his 28.50.
