Munster 4 Mile Road Championships (Monday 02 April 2018)
Patrick Roche Finishes in 4th place in o/40 Munster 4-mile road championships 2018.
Patrick Roche travelled to Castlelyons, Co. Cork on the bank holiday Monday, April 2nd, to take part in the Munster 4 Mile Road Championships, he put in solid run to finish 12 overall in the Master Race and 4th o/40 and 3rd scorer on the second placed o/35 Tipperary team, his time 22.24. This effort put him in 26th place in the senior race and 21st in the Novice race, all 3 races ran simultaneously.

West Waterford AC MTS Metro Ballinroad 5K (Friday 6th April 2018)
Derek Walsh and Ger Houlihan win their categoriesat West Waterford AC’s MTS Metro Ballinroad 5K road race on Friday 6 April 2018, Derek Walsh crossed the line finishing 6th overall and 1st o/40 putting in a strong performance to finish in a time of 17.16. Ger Houlihan ran well to come in 165th and 1st o/55, Ger time was 26.58. also representing our Clubwith a fine run Derek O’Dwyer finished in 122nd place, his time was 23.39. well done to our members.
Tipperary County Intermediate 4K and 8K Road Race Championships (Sunday 8 April 2018)
Patrick Roche leads Carrick on Suir AC over the line at County Intermediate Championships.
The Tipperary County Intermediate Road Race Championships 2018 took place at Faugheen on Sunday 8 April last, Hosted by our club Carrick on Suir AC. The Women’s 4k race was won by Clonmel AC’s Claire Annan in a time of 14.51 and the men’s 8K race winner was Thurles Croke AC’s Kevin Coleman, his time 26.11.Our Club had 7 Competitor in the men’s 8K Road Race, Frist to cross the line for Carrick on Suir AC was Patrick Roche in 8th place, time 28.05, followed other fine preperformances from Benny Hahessy in 20thplace time 31.01, Andrew Downey in 24th place time 32.14, Miguel Ponce De Leon in 27th time 32.40, John Carroll in 30th place time 32.54, Barry Torpey in32nd place time 34.59, and Tom Egan in 34th place time 37.22.
Thanks to our stewards who kept the roads safe, Margaret Fleming and all who have helped with post-race refreshment after the race and race organisers all who have made this event possible to take place.
