The annual Goal Mile in Carrick-on-Suir has over the years become part of the town's Christmas tradition thanks to the hard work of Mags Power and her army of helpers. This year's renewal will start at Ormonde Castle on Christmas morning at 11:00am. All are very welcome to come along and run, jog or walk the one-mile route through the town. As usual, Santa will be on hand to get proceedings under way and there will be mulled wine and sweets at the finish on Main Street. Donations will be accepted at the start. Mags' helpers be collecting for this very worthy cause at SuperValu, Carrick-on-Suir on Friday, 15th December and at various locations around the town on Saturday, 23rd December. As always, your support is greatly appreciated and we look forward to seeing you on Christmas morning.
