'My Dress' 1-mile challenge

Well done to all who braved the inclement weather on Tuesday evening last for the first week of this year's one -mile challenge.Despite the heavy pre-race rain, conditions turned out to be very favourable as the field is very well drained. It was very encouraging to see a good blend of seasoned club runners and novices attempt the distance. No doubt all will be determined to improve their times over the next four weeks. Remember, you don't have to run every week and all runners, joggers and walkers are welcome. Entry each week is just 2euro.

Munster Half-Marathon Championships

Paddy Brunnock also comfortably broke the 2-hour barrier, finishing in 1:58:45.
